Dr. Munavvar Izhar is an MD in Internal Medicine and a sub-specialist in Nephrology, Dialysis, and Renal Transplantation, with more than three decades of experience in medicine and teaching. He holds patented teaching products in Nephrology, Internal Medicine, and Family Practice, used by thousands of physicians preparing for ABIM (American Board of Internal Medicine) Certification and Recertification exams.
He earned his MD (Internal Medicine) and DM (Nephrology) from the University of Bombay, completed his IM training at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and trained in Nephrology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver under Dr. Robert Schrier. His Graduate Medical Education work has since branched out to Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.
His aim is to deliver quality medical education and clinical training for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs), using innovative technology to help physicians and students reach their goals — a platform that has grown rapidly in the field of Medical Education.

It found subscribers across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Asia, and as far as Australia and New Zealand, which led to further ABIM products for Family Practice and Internal Medicine.

The organization also places Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) into clinical and research rotations with strong preceptors in the United States, prepares them through live USMLE prep courses, and has built Clinical Pathways for FMGs who return to their home countries without a US residency — covering, in Dr. Izhar's words, the entire length and breadth of medical education and clinical training.
